Summer Barbecuing… Discover how to have a great American BBQ with this classic menu including the recipes for your barbecue!

Many of the American classic recipes have morphed into culinary delights my Grandmother wouldn’t recognize. But they all have an original recipe they are based on. Follow me on a journey of discovery and memories of a simpler time with real food for a backyard barbecue. I’ll take you through the history, what we were doing at the time we made these recipes, how we dined and how we lived.

Although it’s time-saving to buy some of these recipes already finished and ready for the table, they don’t taste the same as what you can easily make at home. Once you know the basics for these traditional recipes, you’ll be inspired to add a few of your favorite ingredients and make it your own. Your children may then be handing down your classic recipe through the generations.
